Silent Hill Community Tribute Project “The Lost Days” Release Imminent!

Hello!

In just three short days, the project will be live! Get excited. I’ve added some minor changes, so those of you who got download codes (contributors) please feel free to re-download the project via your codes that were sent to you last week.

Just want to say thank you, once agian, to all of you who contributed to the project. It was your work which made the thing so special, filled with variety and tallent to the brim.

So, all of you who have had an early look at the project, what are your thoughts? Favorite artworks or songs?

Silent Hill Community Tribute Project Blog Update #7

Hello.

Things have been rather quiet over the last two weeks since we’ve had our contributor review stage. In the last few days, the closing period of absolute final deadlines, we’ve had a handful of revisions, new works and final versions of your work sent through. It was super exciting to get to see all of your much anticipated artwork and music reach the pinnacle of your respective and relative evolutions. It was a real joy to feel like things are rolling again. Having started the engine, the wheels are moving toward the release date. Exciting stuff!

See, there were a few things i haven’t been able to fully implement until everyone’s work was in, but because everything was basically all done on HQ’s side, and just required some uploading and puzzle piece placing, you were all able to have the extra time to provide your best work. And give me some much needed reflection (secret enjoyment) of all of your collective works. And great job! If I may say so in a quite understated way. Because I am, in what words the English language can offer me, completely blown-away by your dedication and talent as ‘The Lost Days’/Silent Hill Project/Silent Hill Community.

At this point, all I really have to say is, wholeheartedly, I cannot wait for you all to have the music and the art in your possession. Essentially, the contributors and me will see the full project in its full glory at the same time. I compile and upload everything this weekend, and send all the early copies out to the artists on the first of October. Then, on the 13th we have the proper release where all the various links which bare various relevancies to the project will be launched to the Internet as a whole (and of course the Silent Hill fans and communities around the Internet in particular) for enjoyment. Thorough enjoyment.

So I thought I’d make a little blog post, really the final in-production blog post before I spam the world on the 13th.

Contributors, expect and email from me on or around the 1st (maybe earlier for those of you in various time zones) and some nice heartwarming words of how great you all are. And be prepared to indulge I. The project that all of you have contributed some amazing work too, over 40 songs and over 50 pages of art work guys.It was a real pleasure to meet all of you, talk to you and see your passion for something you love materialize into such a vast variety of artworks and musical composition. A real treat for me, and I’m sure, everyone who picks up the project.

Good job.

Hope all is well with you all and furthermore, that you’re all looking forward to the release!

Thanks again,
Michael.

Mini-Update #∑

HELLO!

Thought I’d take the opportunity to remind you all, kinda a public service announcement, that you have 10 days from today to finish, re-submit or submit new art/music to the project. I will send out a group email when there’s just a week left with a bunch more info on the days closing in to release.

Hope all is well!

Michael.

When you realise Kindergarten Cop is set in Silent Hill your world will implode.

Change-over!

The official blog has had a change in appearance to get ready for release, which is almost exactly one month away!

The ‘Confirmed Contributors” Section has been updated in full, including only the names of people who have already submitted some or all of their work, as well as have sent us the information to credit them with.

'Submissions Guidelines' has been removed and stand-in links have been added for the various pages which will house the project or information about the project.

Woo, exciting thing time!
